Fantastic perspectives at Simon !

Simon continues its growth and is establishing itself in vegetable Full Liner. In fact, the family-run Simon Group which is based in the Nantes region has just acquired Noble SA, 6 months after taking over the D'Hooghe brand and its activities (specialising in salsify uprooting).

Known worldwide via its SIMON brand for soil preparation and vegetable harvesting activities, and via its BRIAND brand for leaf and root vegetable washing and packing activities, these acquisitions provide evidence of the Group's desire for growth. The acquisition of the Noble brand and its 40 years' experience in the design and production of washing and calibration equipment for vegetables presents a wonderful opportunity for the Group, which can now make its mark in washing, sorting, polishing and calibration chains, which both complement and are superior in terms of hourly rate to the products available at Briand. This is a fantastic opportunity for the Group, which is now one of the leaders in the potato sector.

This takeover provides continuity in that the Simon Group will continue to be supported by the skills of its former owner Mr Jean-Marc Noble, who remains as Chief Executive for Noble industrial site based in the south of France near Aix en Provence. This new opportunity presents wonderful perspectives for the Group and for customers / users of the Noble brand, whose strengths are its know-how and reliability. The Group is also intending to drive the Noble brand beyond Europe thanks to its worldwide presence.
